RE: Spare storage ~ Hang from ladder?

The spare tire for my '03 Adventurer is mounted underneath between the generator and propane tank.

RE: Class A sales down 54%

It's not my fault! I'm looking for an '08 Adventurer 37 footer - can't find one in the southeast.

RE: Drilling Corian Desk Top - Update, job done!

I installed a soap dispenser on the kitchen counter. Taped the spot, bought the hole-saw at Home Depot and used their lubricant. Slow and easy.

RE: A Sad Tale

For Newmars, checkout http://www.ballardscampingcenter.com/ in Hamburg, NY. We're cycling around the southeast, but will travel to NY for Ballards prices.

RE: Generator

Depending on the size of the generator there are one or two circuit breakers on the generator; reset it/them.

RE: autoformer voltage regulator

Last year our power pole was struck by lightning; the Hughes Autoformer took the hit. I called them about the broke unit and they asked that I return it with a $25.00 check to cover return postage - they repaired it.

Food color in carpet

Yesterday the pantry latch gave out, the pantry slid open, the RED food color container broke, the STUFF ran out and stained the middle of the floor. In as much as we want to replace the carpet with a surface more kitchen/traffic friendly one might think this is the sign to do it. We're not ready to do it right this minute.
What have you used to remove food color from fabric?

RE: Generator use

Maybe I didn't monitor the fuel consumption as well as I should; however, last year, VERY warm, ran the generator to run the house A/C for about five hours. Refueled at destination - calculated 6.5 mpg as opposed to my typical 8.0 mpg. We were cooler but did consume more fuel.

RE: Cleaning an old black watertank?

Many thanx to all respondents! 2oldman's advice is probably the most sure cure; however, the least desirable. Am definitely replacing the valve.
Thanx again;

Cleaning an old black watertank?

A friend recently bought a 1991 Mallard fifth wheel. It's in very good shape despite a couple of inconveniences; one being "stuff" in the black water holding tank.
The dump valve is VERY hard to operate - open and/or close; will not completely shut. With the valve open, depressing the flush pedal - it's three or four minutes before anything comes out.
My guess is the previous owner put it up without having dumped after his/her last outing over a year ago. Obviously the liquid evaporated leaving a solid floor. What can we put in the tank to break up this "stuff"?
